Its military is in the transition process from a regional power to global power and threats from its neighbors , Pakistan and china also increased in the recent time . for maintainig the top spot in the region India is investing billions for developing and procuring best weapons for its armed forces . The investment is important for maintain the sovereignty of the state and to protect its citizens against any external threats.
Indian military is one of the top military in the world , they already have some of the best weapons in the world like brahmos supersonic cruise missile , sukhoi 30mki fighter aircraft , t 90 main battle tank , ins vikramaditya .
India ‘s biggest rival china investing big for procuring some of futuristic weapons . and we if talk about India , India is also not far behind , India also has constituted several futuristic projects to check the moves of its neighbors . The research, development and deployment of futuristic weapons are a never ending process.
Indian Goverment has passed the several secret weapons projects in recent times , so These are the top 7 secret weapons of India which india is developing right now

Hypersonic BrahMos Cruise Missile.
After the successful development of BrahMos cruise missile , India and Russia have now agreed to develop a more lethal and dangerous hypersonic cruise missile . Hypersonic Cruise Missile project nicknamed ‘BrahMos II’ has already begun with Russia developing a scram-jet propulsion system
The BrahMos-II is expected to have a range of 290 kilometers and a speed of Mach 7 .BrahMos-II will feature a scram-jet propulsion system instead of the ramjet engine. Other details, including production cost and physical dimensions of the missile, are classified . It is expected to be ready for testing by 2021 and It can be launched from Land, Air, Sea and Submarine platforms.
GHATAK UCAV (AURA)
AURA also known as ghatak is an autonomous unmanned combat air vehicle (UCAV) being developed by Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) for the Indian Air Force (IAF) and the Indian Navy. The design work on the UCAV is to be carried out by Aeronautical Development Agency
Work on unmanned stealth combat aircraft begins early 2007, with the induction time line of 2024 .AURA weighing 15 tons will be powered by a single kaveri turbofan engine which will allow the drone to cruise at Mach 1.2 at an altitude of 30,000 ft. AURA will be capable of carrying missiles and precision guided bombs.
Details of the project are classified but induction of AURA will be a game changer for IAF .
The KALI (Kilo Ampere Linear Injector) is a linear electron accelerator being developed in India by the Defence Research Development Organization (DRDO) and the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre . One important thing to note is that the missile is not a laser weapon as commonly believed . KALI works in such a way that if an enemy missile is launched in the direction of India, it will quickly emit powerful pulses of Relativistic Electrons Beams (REB) and destroy the target in no time.
The Kali project was first mooted in 1985 by the then Director of the BARC and work began on this Project in the year 1989
Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) is an Indian fifth-generation fighter aircraft programme . It is being developed by an aerospace Aeronautical Development Agency as the design firm with manufacturing carried out by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited as the primary contractor and main assembly firm . This is a single seat twin-engine, stealth super maneuverable all weather multi role stealth fighter aircraft . Design work on the AMCA started in 2008 And official work started in 2011 and completed in 2016.
Project Definition commenced from February 2013 to March 2014, started immediately after the design was finalized with intensive development on the finalized design .The first flight of the aircraft scheduled to occur in 2025 and induction will start later in 2030.
AGNI 6 MIRV
Agni-VI Multiple independently target-able reentry vehicle is an intercontinental ballistic missile being developed by the DRDO for the use of the Indian Armed Forces . AGNI 6 will have a strike range of 8,000 km to 12,000 km and is likely to carry up to 10 MIRV warheads , AGNI 6 Missile will be taller than its predecessor Agni V, and is expected to be flight tested by 2019 , Indian government is yet to approve the project, although DRDO has completed all calculations and started the engineering work .
DRDO (The Defence Research and Development Organisation) is developing an E-bomb which will emit electromagnetic shock waves that destroy electronic circuits and communication networks of enemy forces .
E-bomb would give an option to the military as the bomb can target the enemy’s mobile targets, air defense systems, mobile or static radars, naval vessels with communication systems and even ill-shielded communication or electronic systems at a military base ,chief and scientific adviser to the defense minister Avinash Chander said.
E-bomb warheads can be delivered by combat aircraft equipped to deliver guided munitions and cruise missiles , Other DRDO officials said .

Pralay is one most secret weapons of India . As of now we do not have too much information about this missile , but according to some sources pralay is a new surface to surface tactical missile system which heavily borrowing components from ‘Shourya’ missile. In march 2015 Defence Research and Development Organisation was given go ahead to develop this new tactical missile which later confirmed by DRDO ‘s Annual report for year 2015 . Pralay missile seems to be carrying slower speed than Shourya but similar dimension suggests it will neither carry same range of Shourya which is 750 to 1900 km depending on the payload or may accede its range parameters. As far as the pralay missile is concerned we might soon have a maiden test flight of the missile , as developmental flight trial approach has been finalized .
